What is working with you like?Like sinking your sore feet into warm water after walking a thousand miles barefoot. Wait! It ain’t a fairy tale either. There is a lot of work, ownership and focus on meeting goals. But we do this as a team. Together.
-
How do you ensure meetings are productive, yet fun?We don’t judge you by the ideas or the brainfarts you might come up with. Oh, and you can simply play a game of scribble in between. It’s fun!
-
What’s the most unusual thing you do?Twice a year, we celebrate No Work Day. It’s a tradition really. We turn up at work and then don’t work for the entire day. Another thing is that we don’t celebrate festivals at work. Some may find it to be unusual but we don’t. It’s a code based on certain beliefs of equality that we subscribe to. P.s We have wizards who have trained with Lord Voldemort, they can talk to snakes and also fly!
-
Why do you have aliases in your signatures?Designations across SPRD are just another example of us being ourselves. Every individual on our team gets the freedom to pick a cartoon/comic character that s/he associates with and that’s not just on paper. It’s there on all our visiting cards, email signatures and LinkedIn profiles. These names are like portals transporting us back to the days when everyone had the autonomy to be awesome. The aliases also speak of the awesome superpowers we have.
-
How approachable are the managers ?How comfortable are you talking to your peers? At SPRD, you will realise that you are talking to a manager only when you look into their professional background.
-
Do you offer any courses on winning Nerf Gun Wars?We suggest you find an expert outside the office as the competition is fierce.
-
Can I pull pranks on my colleagues?Absolutely, as long as you are willing to accept one in return.
-
Can I shout ‘victory’ at the completion of the task assigned to me?You can also shout Eureka, Woohoo, and Awesomesauce too!
-
Is your cup of positivity half-full or half-empty?We have good days and bad, but either way, you will always find the support you need.
-
I love Halloween. Does the company allow employees to dress up that day?Why just Halloween? You may come in all dressed up any day you like.
-
Do you have a coffee machine in the office? I cannot concentrate without it.Yes! There is one in the canteen, but we cannot guarantee the taste. So if you are ‘half human and half coffee’ (like a lot of us) feel free to get your own mug and a bottle of your favourite coffee brew.
-
Can I take a nap during office hours?Of course! You can carry a pillow if you wish to. Now pinch yourself and read that again. It’s true. We encourage people taking power naps.
-
Chutti Milegi Kya?Haan! While you can read our leave policy on www.ourway.rocks, we do encourage people to take leaves as and when required. No! We don’t have sandwich leaves either. Read more here or write to hello@sprd.co.in if you have more questions.
-
What is the dress code like? This is fairly simple. Come as you are! We don’t have a dress code. Be well groomed though. That’s basic. Duh!
-
Is it against company policy to watch a movie during office hours?By all means you can watch movies all day. We do believe results matter more than time spent at work. So if you are done for the day, go right ahead.
-
Is there a designated day to wear pyjamas to the office?Yes, every day.
-
Is it mandatory to wear formal attire to meetings? We don’t understand the meaning of ‘mandatory and formal attire’. As long as you are well-groomed and actively participate in the meeting, it doesn’t matter what you wear or how many tattoos you have on you. Just be you.
-
Can I bring my cat to work? That sounds purr’fect! Let’s chalk out a plan together.
-
Can I skate in the office? We prefer rolling with office chairs instead.
-
Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?Glad you asked. Out here we don’t like anyone being addressed as ‘Sir or Madam’. You can stick to first names. This applies to everyone. Even our CEO.
-
How do you folks manage stress in the workplace? There are lots of activities that some define as stress busters, and others try to run away from! But if these don’t offer any help, you can always reach out to your line manager or talk to someone on our in-house counsellor panel.
-
Can I dance if I am stressed?Absolutely. Your work friends can join in as well, but please pause if someone on a client call asks you to.
-
How do you express anger at higher management?Firstly, our management works really hard to make sure you are not angry at them. In the rare instance that you are pissed, know that they are always open to feedback. You can also ask them questions upfront during a town hall, write to them via our culture site or share your feelings during the anonymous feedback sessions.
-
Do you have swear jars? No, we don’t. But it’s a good idea to make some extra money. Really.
-
What is your policy on bringing goodies to the office and not sharing them?In the best interest of your health and wellness, we suggest you bring extra. There is a special place in corporate hell for people who don’t share food. Don’t be like Joey.
What's Working With Us Like?
No Ghosting!
Here's something you must know. We have a 'No Ghosting Rule'. No matter what happens, everyone, gets a response. If we can't hire someone we tell them so politely and leave no one hanging. Our record over the last decade is around 98% and we work hard to keep that benchmark.
There Is More!

We Do Our Bit
Born from the unified vision of our agency network, our mission at the Good Wave Foundation is to champion mental well-being for people of every gender. As a not-for-profit, we are committed to ensure that every individual, irrespective of their background, has unbridled access to essential health resources.
To tangibly transform our vision into action, we offer free therapy sessions for all individuals above the age of 18. Moreover, our outreach efforts aim to educate, provide resources, and address the myriad challenges of mental health. As we grow, we are also building a dynamic network of Mental Health Ambassadors, each dedicated to the cause of well-being and inclusivity.
